Renee + Mark || Willowdale Estate Wedding

Jen + Eric

Jen and Eric planned their wedding all the way from Chicago (one of my favorite cities in the US).  I literally did not meet them until about a week before their wedding.  We had corresponded via email and facebook and I was so thrilled to have finally met them face to face.  Simply put, Jen and Eric are one of the sweetest, laid back couples I've had the pleasure of working with.  They really just wanted their guests to enjoy Cape Cod and have a great time.  And that they did!

Love this image of Jen on the left.

While I was with the ladies, Kelly was photographing the guys at a different hotel in Falmouth.

Eric's sister was his best "woman."  I love when couple decide to do something like this.

I grabbed a couple of images of right before the ceremony of Eric.  Loved their suit choice!

Thanks for having Kelly and I. Congrats!

Meaghan + Jon

Meaghan and Jon were married on a beautiful day in the beginning of September.  They tied the knot in my hometown of Albany, NY.  I was delighted to be a part of their day!  Meaghan is a friend of my family and one of the sweetest brides I've had the pleasure of photographing.  To view all their photos please click here: http://www.pictage.com/926616

The view from Jon's room where he was getting ready.

Love this shot!

Handsome groom...no retouching here, these are his blue eyes!

When I arrived at Meaghan's mom's home, she was just getting her makeup done by her friend and makeup artist Tina.

Beautiful girl!

Meaghan's sons Dylan and Johnny were giddy! Especially when they saw their mom with her dress on.

There are so many great spots for photos in downtown Albany. We stuck to the plaza area and around the capital building.

Meaghan is a graphic designer and created all the paper items for her wedding. Love the blue and brown colors!

So sweet...

Dylan and Johnny walked their mom down the aisle.

Love this shot! The boys jumped up on those little things and we quickly grabbed a photo.

Gotta love the capital building in Albany.  A gorgeous backdrop and where I spent many hours as a reporter when I first graduated from college.

The new family!

We were losing light SUPER fast. I LOVE this image.  I try not to stress, especially while I'm shooting, and for good reason. I love that we were able to create this image while the day gave way to night.  The effect here is a tilt shift with the lens, which is making parts of the images out of focus.

I heart NY! Outside The State Room, Meaghan and her boys.

Their table numbers had different photos of Meaghan and Jon, very cute.  The flowers were beautiful.

As a reminder, it's so very important to have a professional photographer at your wedding.  This is Meaghan's grandmother who passed on shortly after the wedding.  I hope some of these images will bring Meaghan comfort.  It's so very important to be able to have photos from such a special day so you can go back in time to remember and actually SEE what a fabulous time was had by all.

Meaghan's beautiful friends and sisters!  My loves Jessica, Andreà, and Sarah! Jessica is my cousin and I photographed her wedding back in 2004, pre blog days!  You'll usually find her little girls on my website and blog.

Meaghan's sisters from Cali.  Meaghan had the DJ play Katy Perry's "California Girls" in honor of them.

To Meaghan + Jon! Congratulations and I can't wait to show you the rest of the images!

Maureen and Sean, Sandy Beach, Cohasset

Maureen and Sean had a small beach ceremony with their close family members on a beautiful evening in May.  I began photographing at Maureen and Sean's new home.  A beautiful place near the ocean.  When I arrived, all the boys were ready to go (in the driveway in fact!), but the girls were still getting their hair done and running a bit behind.  This made the wedding buzz all the more fun for me!

On top of a new home for Maureen and Sean, they also have a new puppy.  Meet Jake...

The boys looking cool in their suits

The girls prepping and primping - loved the feel of urgency.

A calm moment before we left for the ceremony...

We headed to Sandy Beach in Cohasset, which, by the way is not so sandy of a beach. Beautiful rocks abound.

Love the kiss Sean's giving Maureen here after they were wed.

We moved from the warm beach to the inviting Atlantica Restaurant.  The views of the ocean are spectacular from the private room.

Yum! Who doesn't love a little key lime pie martini?!

And ginger ale for the kiddies with a punch of color from the cherry...

Congratulations to one of the sweetest couples! It was great to be part of such a beautiful evening!
